On 20 May 2017, Triodos Sustainable Pioneer Fund received the La Libre Belgique Award for best sustainable performance overall (‘fund with best extra-financial qualities’) and for best sustainable performance among funds without any fossil fuel investments. This award is a wonderful recognition of the fund’s overall good sustainable performance.

The winner of the award is determined based on an independent analysis of the different SRI players in the market, which is done by Financité. Besides the companies in which the fund invests and the criteria which are used to select companies, Financité also assesses the fund’s transparency.

Triodos Sustainable Pioneer Fund invests in global equities predominantly issued by small and medium-sized listed companies that work to provide pioneering and innovative solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future. Triodos Sustainable Pioneer fund is an open-ended fund with daily liquidity and has been established in 2007. The fund is one of the Triodos SRI funds (SICAV I). The combined total assets under management of the four Triodos SRI funds was over EUR 1.3 billion as per the end of 2016.
